My Adventist Library lets you permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how, and what is removed.
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email myadventistlibrary@gmail.com from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We will verify ownership and delete your account within 30 days.
You don’t have to delete your whole account to remove data. While signed in you can, at any time, delete individual items you created — uploaded books and PDFs, comments, and likes — and remove saved books, bookmarks, highlights and notes from your profile and settings. To request removal of specific data you cannot delete yourself, email myadventistlibrary@gmail.com from your account’s email address.
When your account is deleted we permanently remove: your name, email address, password, profile photo, account type, your discussion posts and comments, likes, reports, uploaded books and PDFs, saved books, and your synced bookmarks, reading progress and highlights. Your push-notification token and sign-in credentials (including the linked Google or Apple sign-in) are also removed.
We keep nothing tied to your identity after deletion. Anonymous, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you are retained. Where the law requires us to keep certain records (for example, to comply with a legal obligation), those are retained only for the minimum period required and then deleted. Content stored only on your own device is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
